I have had the privilege of conducting the Winooski Valley District Music Festival four times. This is always a thrill for me because it is my home district and the first festival I ever sang in as a student.

The Stone River is an award winning film by Italian director Giovanni Donfrancesco. I was asked to arrange music for the films closing scene and prepare a choir to perform it. The goal was bring together a diverse group of amateur singers representative of the community featured in the film. More information is available at Altara Films.

I produced A CHORAL EXCURSION with legendary conductor Robert DeCormier and his professional vocal ensemble Counterpoint for the Choral Excellence Press. This program, and its companion show A COUNTERPOINT CHRISTMAS have aired nationwide on PBS affiliates and the recordings have been feature on NPR stations numerous times.

I try to sing at least one solo performance each year. This is one of my favorite numbers, arranged by Andrew Byrne, and performed in the Higher Ground Ballroom in Burlington, Vermont. I am accompanied by Stefanie Weigand.

During my tenure as Creative Director at The Choral Excellence Press I had the opportunity to develop two widely praised instructional series. Donald Neuen’s Choral Techniques and Methods, and Patrick Freer’s Success for Adolescent Singers. More information about these videos can been found at Choral Excellence.

Here is a portfolio of some of my favorite poster designs.
